Why include protein at breakfast?

Indeed, the sugars it brings us are a true glycemic bomb. The glucose present in our usual breakfasts encourages the pancreas to produce insulin. This hormone tries to stabilize the blood glucose level and is responsible for this to redirect excess towards the liver. If energy expenditure does not follow, the body turns glucose into fat.
